Alex has season tix to the Mets and invited me to go tonight. Its amazing how relaxed I feel right now. I’m sitting at Shea, watching them groom the diamond after batting practice, relaxed and easy. With everything I’ve got going on, its nice to put it all on hold for a small period of time and not worry about anything more important than deciding on popcorn or crackerjacks.
What is it about baseball? Why does it make me feel like a kid? I find it funny that I’m blogging about this and Alex just walked up with a bag of kettlecorn.
Let’s see how the Amazin’s do against the Padres!!!

David Ortiz’s wrist might be hurt again. Wonder if the Dodgers will give us Manny back.
HEY MANNY, YOU DON’T HAVE TO CUT YOUR HAIR IF YOU COME BACK!!!
Great. AND Mike Lowell is hurt too.

I updated my links because I realized that I actually had a reader. Mike, from Unraveling Life’s Mysteries came by and commented on a few stories of mine.
Jump over and read his stuff and if you have a chance, take a look at the other Dad Blogs in my list. In fact, they all are except for Dooce, who I can only wish being as cool or as funny as. I think it’s the different plumbing that I have as opposed to her. I think her plumbing makes her funnier.
Then again, that would mean that I would have to be funny, which I am not sure I am at all sometimes.
So what is it all about anyway? Why do we post, and give links and try to interest people in our stuff? At first I thought it was because I was just doing it for me!@ Yeah, right. I think each one of us is looking for readers and are gratified when someone does post a comment.
That being said, can people PLEASE comment on my stuff? All I’ve been getting is bots posting ‘insurance’ or ‘poker’ or other crap like that. Does anyone read this? Even if you just want to drop an “I DO”, please do. I also take requests for posts
I’m trying to get better about posting stuff, and I truly do think that I am getting better. I’ll try not to whine too much either. Too much.
