I am happy to report, though, that he is already two years past the age that his dad was when he first got drunk (a lot), so we have that going for us.... Now go get the Clorox wipes! I am grateful that my girls’ dad and I are good at co-parenting. Even though there are things between us, as divorced parents, that are sensitive and icky, the parenting thing has always been a united front. I am hoping he’ll be the one to do the birds and bees talk though. And when it comes to boyfriends, drugs and alcohol and bigger ethical challenges, I am confident we will continue to be partners in guiding them. Of course, kids learn alot for themselves as well. (as we can all attest)

Good advice, where were you a few years ago when I could have used it? Putting up the united front with my ex has been the struggle I've had to work out. She and I don't aways agree and therefore why were not married to each other anymore, besides the other guy she was with, but that's another story... Mikes last blog post..How A Man’s Mind Works
