Teixiera signs with Yankees

at first I was pissed, but then I thought about it.  Boston isn't about long contracts - look at what happened with Manny?  Who, btw, I am convinced will sign with NYY as well and GOOD.  Enjoy!  Watching that clusterf&*k with all of those personalities will be very funny.  This might work out well.  Hopefully, this will allow us to sign Derek Lowe.

Now...what to do.

    Well, I can tell you that we are mourning over here on the West Coast. The Halos also have said that they are not courting Manny either. Looks like either back to the Dodgers or the Yankees. I can’t see how the Yanks can afford him now though.

    The AL East should be fun to watch this year. Pray that we (halo fans) find a decent first baseman.

    Kotsay might be available, the Sox didn’t renew his contract. He’s actually fairly decent and can hit well in a clutch.

    Even with everything they’ve tried to do to buy a WS, I still think they’re not going to go far with all of those attitudes all in one place.
