Animation
I’ve always loved cartoons and animated films, so when the oscars come around, I always like to see who wins the short film and animated categories. The winner for best animated short film is this one. I like it even more because there is no dialog.
What do you think it’s about? Is it sad, or happy?

Wow. That was very moving. Sad, happy, and beautiful. I thought it was interesting that it had a French title but the names in the credits were all Japanese. What was it about? A man living alone, whose wife died before him, whose married daughter is far away, who continues to live and build his days, without company but with his memories? That’s how I saw it.
