Oh Man, do I have someone in mind who I should send over to read this post! My older daughter! Drives me bonkers at times when she goes off on a tangent about how I love her brother more than her or her sister; how much more various friends and neighbors have and how she sees herself in connection to them. I keep trying to tell her -with respect especially to friends/neighbors (and some relatives too, for that matter) that she is only seeing the exterior they present but she has no idea of what might be going on inside those same people with their family, their friends, their things, their wants, etc. Of course, now that I put this comment here, I can’t really send her to read this as she’d likely get all ticked off at me -but then again, that’s nothing terribly new either, come to think of it.

But seriously, I love your attitude about this stuff as it is positive, fresh and will -I do believe -lead you into more positive reactions than you might be able to imagine right now!

"Deserve" is a tricky word because the things inlife are rarely doled out based on what someone does or doesn't serve.
